Trip to the mystic mountain Girova

It is a wonderful trip across the Beskydy Mountains to the legendary mountain called Girova. This mountain is connected with a bandit Ondráš, devils, treasures and witches. Girova is 840 m above sea level and from which you can enjoy also amazing views across the region.

Conditions This trip is suitable for families with children and easily reachable by train or car with a possibility of parking in the center of Mosty u Jablunkova.
The train stops at the beginning of your hike in Mosty U Jablunkova and it is always scheduled to arrive at five minutes to the hour and departs at one minute passed the hour. Once you reach peak Girová, you can eat a delicious lunch in mountain Cottage called Girová. Otherwise there is also another opportunity on your way back in Hotel Grun, which is situated in Mosty u Jablunkova as well as many other restaurants.

The whole track is marked with red color apart from the last part towards the rock formation called Čertův Mlýn, which you can reach by passing old beeches.

You can also shorten your trip, by driving your car to hotel Polanka. From Polanka you will go to Girova cottage following green tourist marks. This option is ideal for families with push-chairs.
